Impeller, Rotating Assembly, Solids Passing Capability

Impeller, Rotating Assembly, Solids Passing Capability

The newly re-designed impeller is the third crucial element of the SolarBee machine that allows the machine to be extremely efficient. This impeller made it possible to move 3,000 gallons of water every minute while rotating only 80 rpm and using very little energy. Another advantage of the new impeller is its solids-handling capacity. Many wastewater ponds will see floating and submerged items that approach 4” in size. Capability to pass solids of this size is important to minimize plugging and maintenance. This feature works in conjunction with anti-jam and auto-reverse algorithms.
