Intake Assembly
The ability to draw water from a particular depth is crucial for optimal mixing and providing best performance in water quality. This feature is patented by SolarBee.
A bottom open-ended intake can be dangerous. In wastewater ponds, the open-ended intake is likely to pull in water from several feet below the bottom of the intake, and this water from lower levels could be anoxic, or laden with H2S, or contain sludge/slurry that could ‘crash’ the pond, and leave no possibility for recovery unless the machines are turned off.
